This blog site takes its name (The Mongrel Dogs Who Teach) from a Bob Dylan song made most famous by the Birds, “My Back Pages”:
In a soldier’s stance I aim my hands
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not I become my enemy
In the moment that I preach…
It will eventually be my repository of thoughts on teaching, education, etc. Increasingly it seems to be netting my other thoughts, too.
